Dubrovnik is a city which has tons of history loaded into it, so as you can imagine there is plenty to explore and learn. The great thing about a Dubrovnik holiday is that there are islands nearby which provide a great opportunity for water sports and excursions. Aside from that, admire the surrounding architecture of the old town and beyond and you’re taken back in time with Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance styles.
Dubrovnik is beautiful during the summer thanks to its rising temperatures, however if you choose to travel to the city during this time it will be crowded. As the city itself is quite small, it would seem that during the summer it struggles to cope with the large number of tourists that visit during this time. With that said, September and October are a great time to visit the Croatian destination as the weather is still pleasant and the sea will still be warmed up (perfect for a swim!)
