The pool scene here takes in a huge lagoon pool and a waterpark with a section for adults and another for children. On the dining front, there’s a Turkish à la carte and a romantic seafood place. The hotel’s location is spot on for exploring Side, which is only five minutes away by bus. Lots of people prefer to walk there, though – just head out onto the beach and stroll for 25 minutes along the shore.
Most popular facilities
Twenty-two tennis courts are prepped ready for play, with floodlights* and equipment* available. The beach hosts football and volleyball. The pool puts on aqua aerobics sessions while elsewhere there’s boccia, archery and table tennis.
Equipment is available to hire, and if you'd like to improve your game, book yourself in for a lesson.
The spa* covers four floors. Massage-wise, the options are endless – aromatherapy, hot stone and shiatsu are just a few on the list – and there’s a range of special pampering rituals as well.
Fitness First gym*
If you're a Fitness First member you can use the gym for free.
Here you'll be able to treat yourself to a large selection of treatments such as Mediterranean, Indian and oriental rituals, classic, Far East and ayurvedic massage. There's eye care, lip care, anti-aging techniques, nail treatments and a selection of massages. Also a Turkish bath and special packages that last up to five days.
The lagoon pool is so big and meandering it actually gives you three separate sections of water to swim in. It’s accessorised with sunloungers and a waiter-service bar. A nice touch is the cooling flannels given out.
Children's splash pool
The aquapark offers an activity pool for children with a 0.80 metre deep. There's various water activities such as a water tower, splash bucket, water guns and a penguin slide.
Baby Sand pool
There's a sand pool especially for babies from 0 to 3 years old. The depth is 0.40 metres and looks like a bay along the coastline and offers various water activities such as a pirate ship, frog, elephant, dolphin and clown slide.
The huge lagoon like pool meanders around the sun terrace giving you three large pools to swim in. There are also sunbeds with square parasols to get comfy on and you're never too far from the bar.
Outdoor activity pool
At 1.2 metres deep and in the centre of the aquapark is this large activity pool. It's just for adults, and offers a lot of water activities such as the rain forest, Jacuzzis™, back massages and foot massages.
Food and Drink
TripAdvisor reviewers praise the buffet restaurant for its selection, which includes sushi and honey fresh from the hive. The spread also features themed cuisine such as Italian and Chinese.
Keyfi-i Safa Turkish local cuisine à la carte restaurant*

Keyf-i Safa offers you the most delicious meals out of the 700 centuries old Ottoman Empire’s and Turkish cuisine. Reservations are required as is a smart dress code.
The Gala night is held weekly at the hotel.
A-La international restaurant

Enjoy the perfect combination of a delicious cuisine and the fascinating architecture of the Ottoman Palace. A-La restaurant has a great selection of breakfast, late breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks. The chefs provide buffets with Turkish, Mediterranean, Italian, Chinese and Japanese specialities. Highchairs are available. A smart casual dress code is required.

Whether you've enjoyed a busy morning at the aquapark or been lazing by the pool the staff at the restaurant are ready to take lunch or snack orders.
Mehtabe seafood à la carte restaurant*

Enjoy à la carte snacks throughout the day or you can visit Mehtabe for romantic dinners while watching the sunset or have the moonlight as the background. Raki, fish and other seafoods are the themed evenings. Evening meals require a reservations. Open every day except Saturday.
Peymane pool bar

You'll find the bar near the main pool. Three times a week there's live music and you can sit back and enjoy world-famous wines, cocktails, liquors and all other kind of drinks are available.

You'll find the bar near the beach. Snacks are available between 2.30pm and 6pm. Here you can also enjoy watermelon in the morning, fresh cucumber in the afternoon and tea and bagels with cheese in the late afternoon. Ice-cream is available throughout the day.

Situated on a peninsula and flanked by two stretches of golden beach, the pretty holiday resort town of Side is a jumble of old and new, with an extensive range of tourist accommodation, shops, late-night bars and restaurants mixed in among the ruins of the ancient city. In the centre of town is the magnificent 2nd-century theatre with beautiful views towards the sea, and the remains of the Roman Baths houses an impressive collection of artefacts.
Side is full of antique ruins, but the Aspendos theatre and Apollon Temple are the most popular. The harbour is full of interesting boat tours and activities, including trips around Side or to neighbouring towns. The turtles can be visited on a daily tour, and the white sand beaches provide activities like scuba diving, parasailing, horse riding, and swimming. Nearby Manavgat has some beautiful natural sights, including a beautiful waterfall.
Side has a variety of restaurants, ranging from Western style food to local delicacies like dolmades and kebabs. Anatolia Cafe is a popular place for English breakfasts and roasts.
Most of Side's nightlife is concentrated along the beachfront. There are a few lively bars and clubs, but they don't stay open very late.
The shopkeepers in Side have a reputation for pestering tourists, especially in the city centre. Many shops will not display prices, so be prepared to ask and haggle. Busy streets that lead down to the sea are lined with souvenir shops selling typical Turkish handicrafts like carpets, jewellery and leather goods. You can take a bus to the Manavgat market on Thursdays, which has the usual souvenir options like t-shirts and leather goods. The main markets are fun and have a lively atmosphere, but the best deals can usually be found in quieter areas.
Side can be very crowded on weekends, when many local tourists visit.
