For a quieter time, head to Cala Treumal just down the coast for a beach-bar lunch.

Barcelona is about 30 minutes off by car, so if you fancy mixing a city break with your sunshine holiday you’re perfectly placed. The attractions of one of Europe’s most exciting cities could keep you busy for a lifetime, with culture, shopping, history and clubbing, it’s certainly worth at least one day-trip.
