There are 135 apartments in the three-building complex just back from Levante Beach in the modern Rincon-de-Loix area. It’s a great setting, giving quick access to all the sun-bathing and nightlife you could want, but not quite in the noisy centre of the resort.

There’s a pool to splash about in, and pool and table tennis to enjoy between lengths in the complex. You’ll have to pay for some extras, like parking, Wi-Fi and TVs, but the prices are reasonable.

There are one- and two-bedroom studios up for grabs, sleeping a maximum of five guests. Every room has a small kitchen with oven and fridge, a private bathroom, safe, direct line telephone and sea-view balcony. So, you can look after your own needs – stocking up in convenient local stores. Or you can go for an all inclusive holiday. Packages include a choice of buffet or restaurant dining for three meals a day.

Levante Club Resort are all about the location though. The Levante Beach is Benidorm’s favourite, the place to go for lively beach-front restaurants and bars and lots of water sports. The complex is also handily placed for day trips to Aqualand water park and the Mundomar animal attraction, as well as the wilder coast to Benidorm’s east, including some National Park protected coastline.

Benidorm keeps adding attractions too so that your holiday can be as quiet or as break-neck as you wish. Among the newer tourist temptations is the Terra Mitica theme park, an ancient history-themed park that’s packed with the latest thrill rides and is one of Spain’s largest.
