Mirachoro Carvoeiro

Mirachoro Carvoeiro is located in Carvoeiro and provides an excellent base for exploring the Algarve's beaches and golf courses. This modern Spa hotel offers comfortable accommodation less than 10-minutes walk from the popular Carvoeiro beach and its surrounding restaurants and bars. There are both indoor and outdoor pools, plus some rooms with balconies.

The clean, bright and comfortable rooms are kitted out with a TV and mini fridge. Free WiFi and air conditioning are also available, plus you can book a room with a pool view and balcony if it takes your fancy.

Settle down in the picturesque garden or by the swimming pool. You can enjoy cocktails at the bar alongside a game of pool, or on one of the many sunbeds. Food is served up in the charmingly decorated restaurant, a combination of both international and local cuisine is available. Spa services at the hotel are also pretty full on, with massages, a sauna and a hot tub part of the deal.

Carvoeiro is one of our favourite destinations on the Algarve. Perfect year-round, from the busy summer to the quieter spring months, this small coastal resort is home to lots of delicious restaurants and many bars, ranging from local dives to classy cocktail bars. The famous rock formations (the beautiful arches and caverns you see in most Algarve brochures) called Algar Seco are within a ten-minute walk, plus there are lots of golf courses nearby too. If you're a fan of the beach, the one at the front of Carvoeiro is sandy, and is generally suitable for families, with lots of facilities nearby. There was a big push over the last ten years to get many of the beaches on the Algarve up to a Blue Flag standard, so you'll find toilets, showers and mobility access.

Watch out for the waves though. Because the Algarve sits along the passage where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, the beaches do get hammered by some big waves sometimes.
