Just a 3-minute walk from the beach and surrounded by beautiful grounds, the 3 star Algarve Gardens provide affordable accommodation and access to great sports and leisure facilities. Set within Alfamar Beach and Sport Resort, these self-catered villas are traditionally decorated and comfortable, with kitchenettes, satellite TV, and plenty of space for you to relax, unwind, and make the most of that holiday feeling.
Guests at Algarve Gardens are welcome to use all the facilities of the Alfamar Beach and Sport Resort, including the restaurants and bars. Treat yourself to a day of indulgence at the hotel spa, have a leisurely swim in the indoor pool, or burn off some energy on one of the complex's numerous sports fields. Keen golfers have a choice of 6 world-class golf courses, all within a 15-minute drive of the apartments. The resort also has shops onsite, meaning it couldn't be easier to self-cater.
Praia da Falesia beach is the star of the show here – it’s one of Portugal’s best beaches, and the distinctive red cliffs are a stunning backdrop for the golden sands and clear waters that stretch on for 6 kilometres. In the unlikely event that you tire of the sun, sea and swimming, there are regular buses from the resort to Albufeira, the Algarve's liveliest town. For vibrant nightlife, a great selection of shops and restaurants, or a wander round the picturesque old town, we can highly recommend a visit.
The Algarve Gardens feature 57 one bedroom apartments with living room, kitchenette and bathroom, 35 two bedroom bungalows with living room, kitchenette and 2 bathrooms, and 86 spacious studios. All types of accommodation have direct-dial phone, Satellite TV, radio on TV, heating, rental safe and balcony or terrace, 220 V (adapter necessary for other voltages).
You can enjoy a meal at the restaurant serving the guests of Apartamentos Turisticos Algarve Gardens, or stop in at the grocery/convenience store. Wrap up your day with a drink at the bar/lounge. Breakfast is available for a fee.
Albufeira has an attractive old village with traditional low fisherman's cottages, churches and narrow cobbled streets.
