Just 30 minutes’ drive away you’ll find the pretty town of Teguise, which has a fascinating museum located in a former castle, as well as two convents, pretty architecture and plenty of places to eat and shop. Yaiza is full of whitewashed buildings in the traditional Canary Islands style, while Arrecife offers a beautiful harbour ideal for those wanting to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by.
