The American city of New Orleans, also known as the Crescent city, is famous for its nightlife and is often considered to be the birthplace of Jazz music. Music is ingrained within the culture of this great historical city, but it offers so much more.

If you’re dates are flexible, make sure your trip coincides with Mardi Gras where an explosion of colours, music and dancing occurs for two weeks during winter.
Fancy a bit of down time? Garden District is a quiet part of town, with a relaxed atmosphere and an opportunity to take a stroll without hordes of tourists.
