The best time to visit Moscow would be during April or May, as during this time the temperatures are beginning to steadily creep up and there are still fewer crowds compared to the summer months. Although summer is a beautiful time to visit Moscow as the weather is at its best, you'd better book a Moscow holiday for the shoulder seasons in spring or early autumn as this is when there are less crowds. However, autumn does mean more expected rainfall and less sunlight hours in comparison to the spring.  Plus, winter can get extremely cold, although the views are still amazing if not more fitting for the Moscow experience.
