Life’s a beach on a Lovran Holiday
Lovran boasts two large beaches that can be accessed directly from the town, but you’ll also find lots of smaller coves and beaches all along this stunning stretch of Croatian coastline. Hire a car and explore the area, perhaps finding your own secluded bay where you can stretch out on the sand and enjoy those ocean views all to yourself.
Lovran’s main beach, Kvarner Beach is located to the east of the town and is a long sandy stretch popular with water sports fans. The clear seas are perfect for snorkelling and diving, and you’ll find lots of companies offering you the opportunity to take to the waves in one kind of boat or another! On the eastern side of town, the smaller Peharovo Beach, is pretty, pebbly and popular with families. There is plenty of shade to keep delicate young skin protected, and the lively Lungomare promenade, with its beachfront shops and cafes, is just above the beach.
