How to get to London Gatwick Airport

Thanks to those fantastic transport links, getting to Gatwick from London is incredibly easy. Only 30 minutes away from London Victoria via Gatwick Express, getting to the airport can in fact be pretty fast when departing from the capital. There are frequent trains between Gatwick and London, apart from Gatwick Express (running every 15 minutes), there are also regular Thameslink and Southern services.

Coming from somewhere else in the UK? There are also pretty frequent train services operating direct to Brighton, Eastbourne, Southampton and Portsmouth (with Southern) and services to Redhill, Guildford and Reading (with First Great Western).

National Express and easyBus operate regular coach services to both terminals, National Express in particular has services to different parts of the country. Gatwick Flyer has direct services to Southend (from South Terminal only), while if you are coming from Oxford, Oxford Bus (The Airline) is running hourly during the day.

Alternatively, if you are driving to Gatwick, just input RH6 0NP for South Terminal or RH6 0PJ for North Terminal into your SatNav and follow the directions. The airport is conveniently linked directly to the M23 at Junction 9 and to the A23 London-Brighton road.
