Sitting literally on the Grand Canal, the Palazzo Stern is just one of those special and unforgettable experiences that only Venice can recall. Housed in an enchanting historical Palace, the hotel has been painstakingly restored with attention paid to every detail. The palace hotel simply oozes romance and charm, from the peaceful garden overlooking the Grand Canal, to the rooftop terrace complete with outdoor Jacuzzi. With the Accademia just around the corner, and the Guggenheim collection not much further, the Palazzo Stern continues the theme with its own collection of antiques, sculptures and valuable furnishings. Guests will have no problem in getting around Venice as the Vaporetto (water bus) stop is no more than 5 metres from the hotel, meaning the hotel can be reached without having to cross one bridge! Accommodation at the Stern is in strict compliance with the rules of Venetian styling and tradition; precious wall fabrics, curtains and drapes, oriental carpets, stuccos, gildings, Murano glass vases, chandeliers and appliques enrich the guestrooms. As expected, all rooms feature excellent 4-star amenities and facilities including satellite TV, air-conditioning, safe, mini-bar, Wi-Fi connection and a tea/coffee courtesy tray. Check In is provided from 02:00pm and check out 24 hours a day. Guests should note that local city tax is not included in the rate booked.
