Introducing Holidays to Incekum
Incekum is on the ‘Turquoise Coast’ of Turkey, in the south, which is famed for its golden sands and bright ocean.
With multiple blue flag beaches and sunny days, Incekum is a seaside paradise. You can enjoy swimming and water sports like windsurfing, sailing and water-skiing, or go out on a boat trip. Alternatively, you can simply relax on any of the clean beaches which are situated in small, shallow bays, where kids can splash around in the sea while parents watch from sun loungers.
The resort is small and well-equipped, while being slightly more upmarket with an excellent standard of hotels and every need catered for. There’s no need to leave the resort if you prefer, which is great for the ultimate relaxing holiday. If you do want to get out and explore, you can go shopping in nearby Alanya, or even mountain climbing - if you have the energy!
Please note that UK Passport holders arriving in Turkey need to obtain an e-visa online before travel. You can apply for your e-visa on www.evisa.gov.tr.
Top Attractions in Incekum
The weather is one of the most attractive things about Incekum, as it boasts an average of 300 sunny days a year. This, combined with the turquoise seas and the beautiful sandy beaches stretching for 6 miles, is the reason so many people choose this location for their summer holiday.
After a few days, if the sea isn’t quite entertaining enough for the kids, there’s the Water Planet Aqua Park just 10 minutes’ drive away. The Park has exciting slides and also places for parents to relax at the same time.
The village-like resort is set amongst beautiful countryside which is great for exploring on foot, and horse riding is also a popular way to take in the views.
Incekum also has ample entertainment and catering within the hotels themselves, which provide every possible reason to encourage guests to stick around rather than heading out of the resort. Because the hotels in this resort are of a high standard, that means the entertainment and food are excellent quality.
Being a smaller resort with mainly hotel-based entertainment means it’s a peaceful place to wander in the evening and doesn’t get noisy and busy like Alanya, the nearest big hotspot for nightlife.
Incekum is the perfect place to try scuba diving for the very first time at Scuba Turtle. It has calm and shallow waters, and instructors who are there to help you whether it’s your first time or your 100th time diving.
Water Planet Aqua Park is a colourful and fun world of waterslides that will delight kids of all ages, and it’s just a couple of miles from the resort, making it a great go-to day out if you’re on a family holiday with children. Or you could try Sealanya Seapark - a water park with a difference, offering dolphin and sealion shows as well as swimming.
The resort of Alanya is around 9 miles away, and has all the things that Incekum lacks, including lots of shopping, and impressive and varied nightlife. This makes it a good place to visit for more stimulation, whether during the day or at night.
