Is it possible to walk into a town or village from the hotel. Or is there a bus service 1 Answer
Sorry but this is all I can find about buses in the resort , hope this helps
All places and beaches on Chalkidiki have bus service to Thessaloniki. Buses running to the busiest destinations depart several times a day, and there are also seasonal bus lines. Bus station to Thessaloniki is not located on the main station in Thessaloniki, but on Thessaloniki eastern outskirts, so the best way is to take a taxi to airport. First bus to Kassandra departs at 5:40 and the last one at 21:00. The ride lasts around 90 minutes.
Most places on Sithonia and Athos are connected with bus lines, but the travelers are advised to plan their trip carefully, as buses operate only twice per day during off-season, whereas in summer departures are much more frequent. Poligiros is very well connected with other destinations.
Bus schedule from Thessaloniki to Chalkidiki and vice versa with ticket prices are given here: bus schedule and ticket prices.
Current ticket prices of KTEL buses are: Thessaloniki – Nea Moudania 6,30 €; Thessaloniki – Polihrono 11,00 €; Thessaloniki – Pefkohori 11,80 €; Thessaloniki – Loutra 12,60 €; Solun – Metamorphosis 10,00 €; Thessaloniki – Nikiti 10,60 €; Thessaloniki – Neos Marmaras 13,00 €; Thessaloniki – Toroni 15,10 €; Thessaloniki – Sarti 18,30 €; Thessaloniki – Ierissos 10,80 €; Thessaloniki – Nea Roda 11,30 €; Thessaloniki – Ouranopolis 12,40 €.
There is a big taxi station at the Thessaloniki airport so without much trouble you can reach any destination on Chalikidiki. Depending on distance and size of your luggage, it is advisable to arrange the price with a taxi driver in advance. However, expect that the ride from the airport will cost you at least 50 €. For information about taxi service at your holiday destination, ask local residents or in a local café or store.
