Amalia Apartments and Studios in Bali (Crete), Crete, Greek Islands

The beautiful three-star Amalia Apartments is a hidden gem, tucked away around a 20 minute drive from the nearest city. The resort is family run and has a laid back vibe, so it is the ideal place to get away from it all. The Bali area of Crete is full of natural beauty and there are plenty of opportunities to hike and explore the surrounding areas for even more breathtaking views. The general area is quite hilly, but all amenities are in close walking distance, so you won't need to exert yourself too much!

Amalia Apartments have a well-kept pool, which many of the rooms overlook. Sun loungers are also available for free at the poolside - perfect for lounging around and catching a tan. Amalia Apartments are also family friendly, with a children's area and a playground. The rooms themselves are spacious and well kept, equipped with white goods and cooking facilities, as well as a bathroom and a balcony/terrace area, some of which are blessed with incredible sea or mountain views. The nearby beach is absolutely stunning, with crystal clear waters and soft sand to feel beneath your toes. You can also make a splash at the nearby Fodele Beach Water Park resort.

There are many local amenities nearby, including a supermarket for those who want self-catering. If you fancy treating yourself instead, you can walk to one of the many nearby restaurants which serve up traditional local delicacies alongside international cuisine. The Bali area also has plenty of bars in which to enjoy a tipple or three, knowing that it's only a short hop back to the apartments. The area is quite well connected, so despite benefiting from its secluded nature, Amalia Apartments can be a good base from which to explore the north of this historic island.

Hello, We do not know if the beaches will be overcrowded - this would depend on the number of people who choose to visit the beach during their holiday. The tourist tax is 1.50 (euros) per person per night. Regards

Hi katie, the nightlife in Bali is very low key, a few tavernas, bars and restaurants. If you are seeking a much livelier scene you would be better placed in Rethymnon, Hersonissos or Malia. Kind Regards
