The classic 3-star Starfish Jolly Beach Resort & Spa, set across an expansive 40-acre garden and long white beach, is Antigua's largest all-inclusive resort. Constructed in the late seventies, this hotel has aged well. Although some facilities and rooms may seem dated, the grounds are spotlessly maintained, the beach is gorgeous, and the restaurants serve up yummy Caribbean cuisine.
All 464 rooms at the Jolly Beach include a hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning and in-room television. In the Super Saver, or Economy Room, you'll get either a garden or ocean view from the patio or terrace, where applicable.
Choose from 5 on-site restaurants, 4 of which are a la carte and one of which is a buffet restaurant which serves both international and local cuisine. Before or after wining and dining, make the most of the activities available in the hotel and in the local area. There are an on-site fitness facility, nearby golf courses and a marina in Jolly Harbour where you can find kayaking or sailing lessons. Back in the hotel, there are a games room and outdoor tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts. Scheduled entertainment and activities for the whole family take place throughout the week. For the little ones, there's also a kid's club, meaning everyone is kept happy on their Antigua holiday.
Supersaver rooms (2 people) have a double bed, air conditioning, television, hairdryer, shower and balcony or terrace. These rooms have limited space. Standard king rooms have a king-size bed and have the same facilities and are slightly larger.
This property is all inclusive. Rates include meals and beverages at onsite dining establishments. Charges may be applied for dining at some restaurants, special dinners and dishes, some beverages, and other amenities.
Satisfy your appetite with Mexican cuisine at Margaritas Restaurant, one of the property's 5 restaurants. Relax with a refreshing drink from the poolside bar or one of the 4 bars/lounges. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
Food and drink:
The Hemispheres Buffet restaurant serves fresh Caribbean treats and fruits, plus granola, pancakes and made-to-order omelettes. Ideal for getting your day off to the right start. At lunchtime, the fare changes to a range of sandwiches, salads and selections from the grill. Dinner menus change nightly and reflect different world cuisines.
The a la carte offerings range from Italian at the Bocciolo, Seafood at Lydia's, Mexican at Margarita's, and Beach Grill delights in the Coconut Grill.
