Psalidi is an ideal beach holiday destination for those who prefer a laid-back, fuss-free holiday with stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere. While Psalidi may lack some of the tourist-drawing attractions of larger Greek resorts, its tranquil natural beauty and opportunity to experience the simple pleasures of Greece in less bustling surroundings. Due to its close proximity to Kos Town, you can enjoy fantastic sightseeing opportunities such as ancient ruins and see how architecture has evolved over the years by comparing the different types of buildings and the castle that sits above Kos Town.

In addition to the historic buildings, the natural surroundings and traditional Greek villages in the area amidst scenic pine forests offer good opportunities for hikes and to get up close and personal with the culture of Greece. If you’re up for travelling a little bit further inland from Psalidi, the Asklepion is well worth a visit. This temple was constructed by the gods of healing and is another example of magnificent Greek architecture and the long and rich history that this beautiful island is steeped in.
