Watersports are available across the island so whether you fancy parasailing, jet skiing, windsurfing or snorkeling, you'll find plenty to do. There are several blue caves cut into the cliffs around the island, particularly around Cape Skinari. Take a boat from any of the ports or harbours for a half-day trip and you'll be rewarded with some of the best examples of this spectacular natural phenomenon anywhere in the world. Laganas is the place to head for nightlife. It offers a range of clubs and bars amid a party atmosphere. There are plenty of beaches in Zante and some of the best include the smaller, secluded coves that are scattered along the coastline. Porto Limnionas is a local tip and offers great snorkeling. For something a little easier to get to, Laganas beach is one of the largest stretches of white sand beach on the island and is close to several bars, restaurants and hotels offering everything that visitors need to feel at home. If you're feeling adventurous, beautiful Navagio beach is situated in a small cove and is accessible only by boat. It is often referred to locally as 'smugglers cove' as it is rumoured that a group of smugglers crashed their boat and were shipwrecked there.
