These self-starters are walking travel gurus, ready and willing to give their opinion on any travel topic from where to eat in Tenerife to the best shopping spots in Bangkok. To celebrate the emerging talents in this ever growing industry, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best bloggers to watch out for and follow in 2015.
With a bucket list longer than most people’s autobiographies, Flora has already ticked off the Northern Lights, Petra, the Dead Sea and Disneyland to name but a few. Never one to avoid a challenge, she’s set herself a target to visit every continent twice before she turns 31, a feat we are certain she will succeed in. Flora’s adventures span from solo travel in India, teaching English in Ecuador and plenty of European escapes.
Established earlier this year, this blog charts the adventures of three globetrotters. The Brit –serial blogger Macca Sherifi – writes about alternative travel, penning charming stories about out of the way destinations. The Broad goes by the name of Brianna Wiens, an actress and photographer who writes emotive tales of her time on the road. The trio is completed by award winning videographer Brian Ceci, who creates video blogs that will make you want to pack your bags and travel.
Our favourite foodie blogger Giulia Mulè is our go-to expert on all things edible. Recently announcing that she is working on her blog full time, Giulia now has the time to travel extensively and share all her wonderful tips for dining abroad. As well as a flair for words, Giulia’s talents extend to the kitchen, where she whips up sensational dishes from around the world which she, thankfully, shares on her blog.
Filling the wonderful niche of adventure for the unadventurous, Hayley’s blog is a must for anyone looking to escape the norm. Despite describing herself as ‘flat footed, and more than a little clumsy,’ Hayley has experienced hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro, sailed by catamaran in the Caribbean, climbed Mount Kinabalu and bungee jumped in Thailand. With the heart of a true traveller, when recently deciding whether to buy a house or go travelling, Hayley brought a one way ticket to India. Kudos Hayley!
