Here’s an idea, cash in those pointless Christmas gift cards and save up for a holiday in Magaluf. This vibrant resort is home to gorgeous beaches, excellent nightlife and awesome activities. Being one of the most popular resorts in Europe, Magaluf isn’t short of ways to keep you and your party entertained.
To make it a little easier (and even more obvious), we’ve narrowed down a list of our top five reasons why you need to visit Magaluf in 2014:
BCM square is the place to go for anybody who really likes to party; ever heard of the expression ‘go hard or go home’? The clubs and bars are heaving with all your favourite tunes from club classics to contemporary house anthems and I can assure you, you’ll certainly not want to go home! Make sure to visit the actual BCM nightclub too and watch top music artists mixing the best beats around.
Playa de Magaluf Beach
Ok, we know this is probably a tad obvious but the 900m beach in Magaluf is an excellent place to spend your days basking in the sunshine (and topping up the tan). Enjoy a variety of water sports such as banana boats or paragliding, before ambling along the promenade to enjoy a refreshing ice-cream.
The Sol-Katmandu Park and Resort
There’s more to this hotel than just bricks and water; having been recently renovated, the Sol-Katmandu has its very own theme park located within the grounds. Another great new edition to this exciting hotel is the Phoenix Zipline, where you can soar across the sky and try to enjoy the views in between screaming! After a day of theme park excitement and zip line riding, make your way to the Lounge Bar for some well needed rest and relaxation… oh and a cocktail too!
The Western Waterpark is a themed park that provides thrills and spills for everyone who likes the wild wild west! There are free buses operating to the waterpark, so you don’t have to worry about wasting the pennies on transport. The Kamikaze ride is certainly not for the faint-hearted as you pummel down a near vertical flume. However, if that isn’t daring enough for you adrenaline junkies, jump on board the 15 metre-high water half pipe for an extra hair-raising experience.
Come Fly With Me – The Musical
If the thought of stumbling around BCM square isn’t really your bag, then don’t worry, Magaluf even hosts its own theatre show. The Come Fly With Me musical is a visually stunning piece of theatre, complete with acrobats, dancing and live music. Why not push the boat out and enjoy the show from the comfort of your own private sofa?
Don’t just take our word for it, go and see for yourself just how much fun you can have in Magaluf. Thankfully loveholidays are offering you some great prices on flights and accommodation, so what are you waiting for!
