    In a city bursting with attractions and entertainment, it’s easy to get dazzled by the bright lights of Vegas and miss out on some of the best things to do. Sin City is on most of our bucket lists but not all of us are sure exactly what’s there – apart from the casinos that is!

    To sort the showstoppers from the flops, we’ve picked out our favourite things to do in Las Vegas; so next time you’re heading for this desert city, you won’t have any trouble finding what’s hot and what’s not.

    1. Caesars Palace

    An iconic part of Las Vegas, this Roman inspired hotel features in numerous Hollywood blockbusters, including 2009 hit, The Hangover. With its own thriving casino offering everything from blackjack to slot machines, this is one of the best places in Vegas to place your bets!

    2. New York-New York Roller Coaster

    If you’re a bit of a thrill-seeker, hopping on the New York-New York roller coaster is one quick way of seeing the city. Accessed from the New York-New York Hotel and Casino, this roller coaster has one of the most exciting backdrops in the world, which makes for one exhilarating ride!

    3. Little White Wedding Chapel

    Made famous by celebs such as Britney Spears and Pamela Anderson choosing to get hitched there, paying homage to this eloping mecca is a must for anyone paying Vegas a visit.

    4. Cirque du Soleil

    If you only see one show while you’re in Vegas, it has to be a Cirque du Soleil production. These amazing acrobatic performances will leave you astounded as you watch the artists perform from dizzying heights, and since this city has many permanent shows, this is the place to see them.

    5. Bellagio Fountains

    This fabulous water display is unlike any other and is something anyone heading to Sin City should enjoy. A combination of music, lights and impressive water fountains, this exquisitely choreographed routine is only made more dramatic by its incredible setting.

    6. Mermaid Lounge

    If you’re looking for somewhere to have a drink or grab a bite to eat, the Mermaid Lounge will give you one memorable experience. You can sip your cocktails while gazing at the mermaids, sharks and stingrays in this giant saltwater aquarium… not something you find every day!

    7. Around the World Hotels

    One of the things Vegas is most famous for is its numerous destination-themed hotels. From the enormous Egyptian styled Luxor Hotel and Casino, to the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino where you can even take a gondola ride, making your way around each unique hotel is one of the best ways you can spend your time in Vegas.

    Party capital of the world, Vegas is renowned for being home to some of the best clubs on the planet. Although a night out in Vegas doesn’t come cheap, you need to test out this city’s nightlife to really complete your Vegas experience.
