With wild every night parties bringing thousands to Ibiza’s super clubs and bustling bars, daytime activities tend to get overlooked. While some will be content with sleeping through the hangover, there’s no rest for the wicked which is why we’ve compiled a list of fun daytime activities too.
Hop on Over to a Hippy Market
Punta Arabi in Es Cana and Las Dalias in San Carlos are the two largest markets on the island. And with these two being held on Wednesdays and Saturdays respectively, there’s no reason why you can’t choose to visit both. Pick up souvenirs and handmade goods at Punta Arabi, whereas heading to Las Dalias will have you entertained with live acts while sipping on a brew from the Moroccan tea tent.
Sit Back in Bora Bora
Soaking up the Balearic sun to the chilled out beats of house music is reason alone to visit Bora Bora. Beach club by night, relaxed sunspot by day, Bora Bora is the perfect place to meet new people while picking up a tan. Come the afternoon however, this beach along Playa d’en Bossa comes to life with flowing drinks and a cacophony of sound from top-class DJs. Head to Jet Bar or Bora Bora Beach Club to experience the best of the action.
Make a Splash at Aguamar Water Park
Brave the Black Hole or learn the true meaning of Kamikaze with a water slide of the same name, Aguamar Water Park is a firm favourite in Ibiza. Drown the hangover with a world of watery fun or appease the adrenaline junkie within – with a restaurant to keep you going, there really is no stopping you.
Has anyone been to Ibiza without making time for a booze cruise? It’s unlikely. Take the party out to sea with one of the many boat parties that run from pretty much every segment of shoreline you can find. San Antonio is known for hosting some of the best three hour excursions into a day of drinking, dancing and glorious games, so book your ticket early. Check out Ibiza Rocks for tickets that provide entry to clubs in the evening too.
The Zoo Project is an open-air gathering where people don zebra print for no apparent reason other than wanting to. Every Saturday in the Gala Night Park, from around four until midnight, people become party animals before seeing the evening in. Electronic dance music, cocktails and a plethora of fun-lovers make this a truly unique event you simply have to visit when in Ibiza.
