As your holiday is a ‘package’, you automatically have the rights and protections under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (“The Package Travel Regulations”).
As the organiser of your package holiday, loveholidays are obliged to take all reasonable steps to return you to the UK.Where you are currently on holiday
It is most likely that the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will have already organised your return flights to depart on the same day as originally scheduled. However, you should carefully check the CAA’s dedicated website, and any other communication from them for information on your return flight.
It is very important that you follow the instructions of the CAA and check the website for any update or changes regularly. If your return flight is delayed
If your return flight departs later than originally scheduled, you should follow any instructions issued by the CAA.
It is most likely that you will either stay in your original accommodation for the duration of any delay, or the CAA will have organised accommodation for you near the airport. It is therefore important that you carefully check the CAA’s dedicated website, and any other communication from them for information on your return flight. If your return flight is significantly delayed
If your return flight is delayed by up to 3 days, either the CAA or loveholidays will ensure you are accommodated until your return flight departs.
