This endearing hotel is located in the west of the Algarve just 2 km from Lagos' historical Old Town. It is just 250 metres to public transport connections and some restaurants. Praia Porto de Mós' sandy beach and the nearest supermarket are just a stone's throw away and several bar and pubs as well as some nightclubs are all in the immediately surrounding area. It is 75 km to Faro airport.The holiday complex was built in 2002 and consists of 74 apartments on 3 floors. The facilities include a light, friendly and tastefully furnished lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lift, a kiosk, a bar, a TV room, an air-conditioned restaurant with separate non-smoking area (children's highchairs available), Internet access, bicycle hire, a playground and car parking facilities. The hotel has a stunning garden.All if the bright, chic apartments are en suite and fitted with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a food preparation area, a fridge, tiling, air conditioning and a safe. Hotel staff clean the rooms at the end of a stay.The hotel offers its guests a wonderful swimming pool with a children's paddling area, a poolside snack bar, sun loungers and parasols. Guests are also able to make use of the Jacuzzi, a sauna, the gym, bicycle and mountain bike hire (for an additional fee) and beach volleyball. The beach is stony in parts and has deck chairs and parasols available for use.Arriving to Faro airport, you must take the A22 (highroad) direction to Portimão. You should leave the highroad where the sign says Lagos/Vila do Bispo. When you get to Lagos take the directions to Praia do Porto Mós.

The centre of Lagos comes alive in the evenings with buskers and street entertainers, and the nightlife in Lagos can compete with any holiday resort in the Algarve, with several energetic dance clubs and character-filled bars strewn through the main part of town. Of the bars most popular are Bar Amuras at the marina, the Red Eye Bar on the Rue Candido dos Reis, and Zanzibar on the Rua 25 de Abril. Most have music, darts, pool tables and Sky TV sports channels, and stay open late until 2 or 4am.
Besides an ongoing flea market that sprawls through the streets, Lagos boasts numerous fascinating shops and boutiques, especially in the pedestrianised old city. Browsing is as pleasurable as buying in the well-stocked shops that are bristling with attractive local wares, from wickerwork to filigree jewellery, copperware and leather goods to wine and pastries.
There is not a lot for children to do in Lagos but there is a zoo and an excellent water park not too far away.
