Not only is this brand new hotel set along 4 sandy beaches – it’s got a pair of private islands to boot. You’ll also find 5 restaurants, 3 pools, and a real ‘island culture’ atmosphere throughout. Rustic chic rooms have been done up in the style of Mauritian beach houses, with handmade pillows, driftwood tables and Creole sayings stencilled on the walls.
Zilwa means ‘islander’ in Creole, and there are loads of activities that’ll teach you how – take Creole language or cooking classes, visit local markets or head out for a sunrise fishing trip with a local.

The chef here is a wok specialist preparing dishes with noodles, rice and aromatic herbs and spices. Slaw is open for dinner 6 evenings a week

Lor Disab translates to 'right on the beach' which sums this adults-only place up perfectly. With your feet in the sand tuck into light lunches and tasty evening meals.

Grand Zil restaurant*
This place is located on a private island - you can visit it as part of an excursion organised by the hotel. Food-wise, you can expect barbecued meat and fish.
The food here has an Indonesian flavour so expect seafood, fish and chicken with a little hint of spice. Open for dinner 6 days a week.
