Set in the popular St Paul’s Bay area of Qawra, on the island of Malta, the Canifor Hotel is nested in a handy location to visit local attractions – of which there are many – while also offering a quiet escape from the town’s hustle and bustle. It’s great value, with good facilities and an excellent all-inclusive package.

Redecoration of rooms is ongoing at the Canifor, with a smart, new, modern look taking shape, to match the grand marble reception and communal areas. All rooms come with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, direct line telephones, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (for a charge), as well as tea and coffee facilities. You can grab a Superior room if you prefer a bit more space and an excellent view over the pool.

You can eat in the hotel, or – at weekends – in a local pizzeria with an excellent reputation. Pop into the coffee shop or bar for snacks and drinks. There are indoor and outdoor pools, though the indoor pool is not open all year round. For a more intimate experience, dive into the open air Jacuzzi – it’s always warm and cozy! Spa facilities include sauna and a range of massage treatments.

If you want to get active, why not have a quick workout in the gym? Enjoy a game of pool and sing your heart out at our karaoke evenings! All-inclusive deals at the Canifor Hotel are increasingly popular, because of the certainty they can bring to holiday budgets, especially for families. At the Canifor Hotel you can choose between buffet and a-la carte restaurants, enjoy snacks throughout the day, and make the most of our bar from 11am to 11pm.

Qawra is among the livelier areas of St Paul’s Bay, with a strong British ex-pat and tourist presence. That means lots of clubs, bars, restaurants and casinos aimed at UK tourists. There’s lots of local history too, including Qawra Tower and ancient churches. St Paul’s Bay is named for the Biblical St Paul, who was reportedly shipwrecked off shore, adding a religious significance to certain visitors. Although the area lacks a sandy beach, a thriving water sports scene is present.

Qawra is a great base to enjoy a traditional resort holiday or explore further afield into Malta’s wild interior or around its historic towns – Valletta is around 10 miles away. The Canifor Hotel is a brilliant way to enjoy this bustling seaside town. Book your stay now, with Loveholidays!
