This small hotel looks out over the Canal d’Amour’s colourful cliffs and swim-through caves. There’s a little cove right nearby, and it’s only 5 minutes’ walk from a big, main beach. This family-run hotel has a big pool, lots of sunbathing space and a buffet restaurant that lays on some Greek classics. Fifteen minutes’ walk away you’ve got bars and places to eat in Sidari.


A few minutes’ walk from the hotel and you can join onto a coastal hiking path, which comes with fantastic views of the island. As well as a First Choice kids’ club and grassy playground, there’s aqua Zumba, archery, volleyball and water polo, to name just a few of the activities here.

Swimming Pool

Walk past the pool bar, go down some steps and minutes later you’re at a sandy cove. This is part of the Canal d’Amour. You can swim through caves or slap on some clay from the rocks for a natural body mask. There’s a large pool, which comes with a kids’ section. There’s lots of space for sunloungers around the edge as well as on the lawns. And you’ve got a bar for toasties, pizza and drinks.

Food and Drink

You’ll get sea and pool views while you eat. A couple of times a week there are Mexican and Italian themed nights. And the kids can always get things like chicken nuggets, fish fingers and chips. The buffet restaurant serves up Greek specials like meatballs, moussaka and pastitsio, a sort of lasagne. It also has British favourites like beef and Yorkshire puds.

Sidari, a holiday resort popular with British tourists and known for its lively tavernas, bars and nightlife, is a developed resort that has combined a couple of smaller fishing villages. It is located 26 miles (42km) north of Corfu town on the north coast of Corfu and is famous for its long sandy beaches with warm, shallow waters, making it the perfect location for a safe and relaxing family holiday. Sidari is also famous for the Canal D'Amour where it is thought that people who bathe in the waters will find romance.

Holidaymakers will find that most types of water sports are available in Sidari, except jet skis. Boats can be hired and no license is needed. There is small horse riding centre geared for children and boat trips to nearby islands like Paxos and Erikoussa can be organised as well as a coach trip to Albania and horse and carriage rides. There is a regular bus to Corfu Town and Aqualand water park.


Sidari has many restaurants offering a wide variety of food for holiday visitors to enjoy, and most English dishes are served with a Greek twist. Restaurants such as Sea Breeze are situated on the beachfront which makes dining an experience as the sun sets in the distance. Expats tend to populate Southern Fried Chicken, while Jeni's Mediterranean Moments is great for lighter meals and The Orchard is recommended for traditional Greek fare.


The nightlife in Sidari is second to none with a range of bars and nightclubs catering to all kinds of evening entertainment and holiday visitors will not be disappointed. Karaoke is popular in several bars, and there is an open-air club called Caesar's which stays open until 8am. Most regular bars on the 400-metre strip stay open until around 3-4am and the area can become quite noisy as a result.


There is plenty of shopping along the main strip and many souvenir shops can be found selling quality merchandise. The island is noted for its gold and silver jewellery, and leather goods, painted ceramics, and olive wood products are all popular Sidari souvenirs.


Due to the late closing times of the bars and clubs along the main strip of Sidari, the area can become quite noisy. The lack of cultural and historical attractions dissuades many visitors looking for a quieter and more authentically Greek holiday.
